Network connection issue with IPhone 12 mini

Is anyone else having a network connection problem with iPhone 12 mini. I can only connect to 3G even though there is strong 4G connection available. In an effort to resolve the problem my network provider suggested trying a new SIM, however, it has not fixed the problem. Any suggestions?

Thank you for your response. My SIM is valid for 4G and worked perfectly well on my previous iPhone. The network connection has only become a problem on my recently purchased new IPhone 12. I connected my network provider and they confirmed that my account provided for 4G and sent me a replacement SIM to see if that resolved the issue, which it, sadly, didn’t.
