Unable to connect to SMB share over VPN

Hi all,

wondering if anyone can help me, I’m attempting to connect to an smb share on a windows server over vpn.

I am using the Fortinet SSL vpn client to connect the VPN.

The vpn connects fine and I am able to ping the windows server ip no problem. However when I go to connect to the share (I am using the servers ip in the share path) it comes back saying unable to connect to server.

I have successfully connected to the share in the past when on the same network. However am unable to when remote and connected via the VPN.

any suggestions would be much appreciated.
