I need help with my labtop
I updated my computer and the update is on my external hard drive I need it on my disk drive so I can unplug my hard drive but Mojave is still on it formatted incorrectly what do I do

I would suggest that you try the following. Shut down the computer. Disconnect the external drive. Restart the computer in the Internet Recovery Mode to download a new, clean OS. (Hold down the Command + Option + R keys at startup.)
