It would be better if you can please re-post with a screenshot, in order to understand the phenomenon better. Images / pictures speak louder than words. Do not provide any personal credentials, such as email id, apple id, IMEI number, Serial Number, Phone number, Order ID, if you are sharing a map ensure your location is not identifiable. Etc.

I did post a pic.

While on my mini ipad I saw the same red dot on it's calendar. I pressed it and it was a notice to add an appointment to the calendar. I pressed yes and the red dot disappeared from my iphone and ipad. Voila!

My question remains, why on my iphone 12 that when pressing the red dot on it's calendar that a similar choice offering was not shown?
