Not junk!

My daughter’s emails from her college account keep going to my junk. How do fix this on my iPhone? I use Mail, my email address is through Yahoo.

iPhone 11, iOS 14

Sounds most likely that it's a yahoo problem..

I'm guessing you've tried moving the message to your inbox?

in the junk folder, upper right, should be an edit button.. tap that and select the message, then Move at the bottom. Select Inbox

you can also tap and hold on the message and it'll give you a move option there too.

If that doesn't tell it that the email is not junk, maybe try downloading the Yahoo Mail app.

Once signed in and looking at your email, get to the Spam folder.. I'm assuming that's where your daughter's emails are going.. tap and hold, it'll select, then they have an option at the bottom that says 'Not Spam'. tap that.

Hi there juliafromindianapolis,

Thanks for reaching out to Apple Support Communities. We understand you’re running into an issue with email routing. We’ll be happy to help.

Did you add her email account to your iPhone at some point? You can find out in: Settings > Mail > Accounts. If you find the account listed there, tap on it. Then tap “Delete Account” at the bottom. That should resolve the issue of receiving her mail. We hope this helps.

Best regards.

Oh, sorry, I clearly was not precise in stating my question. When my daughter emails me from her college account, the email goes to my junk. Every time. I've tried selecting "Not Junk," and I've "Moved to Inbox" but I don't know how to tell the email account that her address is a safe sender. I'm using my Yahoo email account through the Mail account on my iPhone.
