Deleting the One File:
Right-Click on the file while it is in the Trash and then select: Delete Immediately. Emptying the Trash would delete everything in it.

Point Being: Delete it from the Trash as one file. Not as one whole emptying.
Select a file, drag it to the trash, empty the trash.
