Using A Blue Yeti Mic With A MacBook Pro

I've just bought a Blue Yeti mic. I'm planning to do podcasts on my MacBook Pro.

However, the instructions say that I'm supposed to plug the mic into the MacBook via the USB cable that they provide.... but it doesn't fit.

Do I need to buy a separate one? If so, can someone tell me, specifically, what I'm looking for?

Hello ClarkKent77,

Thanks for choosing the Apple Support Communities. If we understand correctly, you are unable to plug in a Mic to your Mac. We can understand why you'd reach out for a solution.

If you have a Mac with Thunderbolt 3 ports, you would want tog et a USB-C to USB adaptor. That can be found here.
