Classroom pop up

When I use the classroom app, a students tablet pops up. When I remove it, it pops up again.

The factory reset helped for a while - now I found the answer. Because of a Logitech-keyboard I turned "Accessibility - Keyboards - Full Keyboard access" on. When turning "Full Keyboard Access" off - everything works fine :-)

Hello schoebi,

Thanks for using the Apple Support Communities. We understand that you're running into an issue with Classroom and one of your students. Looking over the user guide we were able to find View and lock students’ screens with Classroom which may provide some assistance. However, this option may also limit the student's ability to participate, so it may only work as a temporary solution.

We do understand how important it is for your classroom tools to work successfully for both you and your class, so it might be best to reach out to Education Support for additional assistance.

Best regards.

Hey there, Tom!

Thanks for providing that explanation about what's going on. Reviewing the documents available, Classroom User Guide, we haven't been able to find what could cause this or how to resolve it. Given this, working with Apple's Education Support team would be the best way to go. Here's the contact link for you to reach out to them and get the best support for this ongoing issue.

Thanks for trying to help - but that doesn't change anything. Maybe I have to explain it more different. Usually you see all the iPads in your classroom. You see which app the students are using, you can pinch to zoom (like in the pathos app) to get the little pictures bigger. If you want to get access to one iPad, you tap it and then you have different possibilities (like view and lock, Airplay, ...).

In this case, this one iPad pops up WITHOUT tapping it (even when this iPad is powered off). You are not able to see ALL iPads, you cannot get access to another iPad. If you tap on the left or the right side, the pop up window closes and comes back again.

Best regards

Tom
