Depending upon the age, peripherals may get you slightly more. If it were me I would keep them as backups, or simply because I prefer the older style keyboards.

You are free to keep the keyboard and mouse. Including accessories is entirely optional.
In the trade-in process, it only address the power cord and does not mention the keyboard or mouse, both of which I'd like to keep to repurpose to my MacBookPro use. Thanks for the response.
