Alias email

I am unable to delete the alias email associated with my itunes account. It belongs to someone else. I need this alias email off my account. I have scoured the internet and tried every option I could and still nothing.

I cannot disable/delete per the instructions because there is NO sidebar on any of my devices or computer.

I am looking for a real answer please, even if I have to delete my current itunes and create a completely new one, which I am hoping to avoid. This person is my daughter who has her own account.

Two of the issues I am having which may be attributed to the alias:

Every time I download a new app to my iphone it appears on her iphone and vice versa - every single time.
I am unble to delete apps as well.

Hey kp4498,

We see you are having concerns with your Apple ID downloading on your devices. It sounds like you may be sharing the account or logging into each others devices.

Make sure to Use your own Apple ID for Family Sharing. This will still allow you to share purchases but should help with what you are reporting.

What is Family Sharing? Goes over why creating a separate account and using Family Sharing will be the best fit.
