Supposed Apple security pop-up on Facebook

I was in Facebook and a security pop-up, supposedly from Apple, told me that my phone had viruses and battery was infected/damaged and to download a free app to run ASAP to fix. I took a screenshot of the notification if you need to see. Is this legitimate? See below

iPhone 6, iOS 12

It’s a scam ad designed to scare you into downloading useless software.

install an ad blocker and stop using websites that engage in such sleazy behavior.
