My printer icon disappeared from dock.

new 13 inch 2020 M1 processor Macbook Pro.

i want to click on my printer icon and delete print jobs that i sent to the wrong printer...

used to be easy, click on printer icon in dock and access printer functions. now gone...

Printer icon on dock replaced by white question mark Two days ago, my HP printer went Offline & I did all the Resume, pause, queue checking to try to restore the printer function. Did not work. I finally ended up resetting the printer & followed the directions to add it back into my system. (I have macOS Ventura.) This took several attempts but printer now works fine & the System Settings Printers & Scanners window looks normal. But where the printer icon should be is now replaced by a question mark. How can I remove it & get the printer icon back on the dock without having to delete the printer & add it back (again!) which I have done many times already? To clarify, when I left click the white question mark, the name of my printer appears, so I know the connection is working. Thanks for any suggestions.

Printer icon stays in dock after printing Whereas before, once the print job was completed, the printer icon would automatically disappear. Can't seem to find any option to have it auto-close. A right mouse click on the icon while in the dock only allows me to (1) Remove from dock (this is automatic, I have to do this each time after I print); (2) Open at Login; (3) Show in Finder. System Preference don't seem to have an option. And the printer software (HP) does not seem to have anything either. Not sure why it suddenly started doing this.
