Photos folders not staying in order

I have A LOT of photos and have taken the time to organize them into folders, which used to be arranged alphabetically. Lately, when I open a photo (or folder? or maybe it's random? I can't figure out the trigger), the folder it was in moves to a new location at the bottom of the list, disrupting the alphabetical order and making it difficult to find folders I need. Does anyone know why this is happening or how to fix/avoid it? Thanks!

You're welcome. We're happy to assist with this. From here, we recommend right-clicking on the "My Albums" listing that contains your folders, and then selecting Sort. Which option do you have selected there? Try changing that, and let us know if you notice a difference after.

Thanks!
