I am a Matterport Servoce provider and I have a question regarding the content store within the Matterport App locally.
i have content stored locally on my ipad. This content can not be transfered from device to device, at least to my knowledge. I am wondering if I Purchase a new Ipad and use a previous backup will the contents within the app be restored as well?
That would depend on how Matterport configured their app for backup. If they are storing their content in the normal area for content on the iPad, then it should be backed up when you backup the iPad and would restore when you restore a new device with the backup of the old one. However, if they store their backup differently, which is up to the independent app developers how they decide to do their backups, then you would need to find out how to backup and restore their app data from their support. I suggest that you contact their support and find out how their app handles content backup.
