iPhone really wigging out when charging or using others WiFi

My phone will start opening up things and even trying to make me purchase things on games when charging on another charging cable besides iPhone charger. It does fine as long as I leave it off but if I need to do something look out! Also, if I’m in Kroger and I link to their WiFi or and other place it does crazy things then too, does anyone know why I do all the updates but I think I should stop now when my phone rings and it’s sleeping I can’t answer it, it doesn’t give me that choice! I hate the new updates it’s ruining my phone!!! Please help!!! I’m despairingly disparate!!!

Hi SherriMC737,

We see that your iPhone starts responding unexpectedly when on the charger or if on certain Wi-Fi networks.

To start, if the cable you're using is not an official Apple or "Made for iPhone" branded cable, we would not recommend using it. If the issue does not persist when using an official cable, it is likely an issue with the third party cable being used.

As to what the iPhone does specifically, is it responding as if you're touching it even though you aren't? For example, opening apps, or if the keyboard is up, typing, etc? If so, does the phone have any sort of case or screen protector on it. If it does, we'd recommend removing them and see if the issue persists from there.

Finally, take a look over the tips here for if your screen is too responsive.

Let us know the results and additional details from our questions and we'll continue from there.

Cheers!
