Why is the delivery so long to get a Mac book air?

I ordered my Mac book 5 days ago and it’s only just started the processing stage and now it says it going to be delivered on the 9th which is in 12 more days that’s nearly 3 weeks, and I have express delivery? Why is it taking so long?

Possible shortage of cargo capacity due to fewer flights.
