Black screen

Not sure what version iPad you have, but try a little reset. Don't worry, it won't delete your files. You'll be pressing and holding two buttons at the same time.

Start by pressing and continue holding in the button on the top right side of the iPad. As soon as you press and hold that in, press and and hold in the round button on the bottom of the screen. Continue holding both in for a few seconds and then the iPad should restart with the screen going black and then the white Apple logo appearing. As soon as the logo appears, release both buttons.
