Stop syncing apps from AppleTV to my iPhone

My AppleTV is for the entire family, but I'd rather not have apps that are downloaded on the TV end up on my iPhone. When my daughter plays Minion Rush on AppleTV, can I keep it from also loading to my phone?

Or do I have to set up a separate AppleID?

go to your iphone

settings->app store->Automatic downloads

uncheck apps

and roberts is your uncle
