KORG M50 MIDI THRU

Hi thanks. One question:

I want the sounds of logic pro.

My controller is the roland xp80.

from midi out to midi in al korg m50

from korg usb to mac computer.

¨The signal from the xp80 enters and reaches the korg perfectly, but I can't find a way for the signal to reach the mac through the korg m50.

What should I do, can I?

Twofold question about being unable to get signal to Audacity using Mojave. Other options or am I able to revert to High Sierra using time machine? Recently I went back to do some work on some older sound recordings I made with Audacity while using High Sierra as my OS. I was trying to use my external mixer through the USB port to record (as I always had) some additions and found that my laptop (late 2012 MacBook pro) would no longer recognize my mixer or get any signal whatsoever. I can see signal when I go to System Preferences>Sound>Input and select USB CODEC but I'm not getting signal recognition when I'm using Audacity. After a little research I see that my Mac doesn't play well with some programs and hardware using Mojave that it did while using High Sierra. I tried going to System Preferences>Security>Privacy and allowing audacity to control my computer but to no avail. I like Mojave in every other respect but if I can't get it to work with my older recordings I'll be required to revert to the older OS to continue my work in that particular idiom. So my question is twofold: 1) Have I exhausted all attempts to get Mojave to play nice with Audacity? 2) If so, can I revert to High Sierra using time machine? If it matters, my external mixer is a Berringer Xenyx Q1202 USB console.

How to record sound and midi data from external keyboard (Roland FP-30) to Logic Pro without dealing with audio? I just want to understand if there is a way to simply route the sound and midi data generated from my Roland FP-30 keyboard directly onto a software instrument channel in Logic Pro X, without having to worry about any sort of audio tracks? I currently have it plugged in to my computer via USB, and it works fine as a midi keyboard with other plugins. I'm sure I'm missing an important step, such as not connecting it properly, etc. I'm just not certain as to what. Any help would be hugely appreciated, thanks!

Yamaha Midi driver with Macbook M1 (Apple Silicon) - Midi interface OK, Not recognizing Audio interface Hi, I've always used my Synth/Keyboard Yamaha MOX8 with Windows and I've never had problems to the Driver recognize the audio and/or midi interface. The Synth has internal audio interface. I just bought a MacBook with an M1 chip (Apple Silicon) and it's on macOS Monterey 12.4. I installed the latest version available from the Yamaha website: 1) Yamaha Steinberg USB Driver V3.1.1 for Mac macOS 11/12(Intel/Apple silicon with Rosetta 2). https://br.yamaha.com/pt/support/updates/yamaha_steinberg_usb_driver_for_mac.html 2) USB-MIDI Driver V1.5.0 for Mac macOS 12, 11 (Intel/Apple silicon with Rosetta 2) https://br.yamaha.com/pt/support/updates/usb_midi_driver_for_mac.html When trying to use it with the keyboard, the MacBook is recognizing the midi interface (I can see it in the "Midi Studio" screen, but it does not recognize the audio interface, that means, I am able to control VST, exchange midi signals, but neither the operating system nor the DAW is recognizing the audio interface. Note 1: I already tested using the original keyboard cable + USB HUB, as well as I bought a new USB-B to USB-C cable, connecting directly to the Macbook and the result was the same. There was no difference. Note 2: In the installation guide of item 2, ask to confirm that the installation was successful if we have files in the folder: /Library/Audio/MIDI Drivers/YAMAHA-USBMIDIDriver.plugin /Library/PreferencePanes/MIDI Drivers/YAMAHA-USBMIDIPatch.prefPane I checked and besides the installation report as successfully finished, the files are not in the folder.
