Will is be possible to support the Mac Book Pro Early 2013?

I have an early 2013 Mac Book Pro 13 inch. Is there a possibility that Big Sur could be compatible with this platform as well in the future?

This is a user forum and not Apple that you are speaking with. We do not know what Apple will do in the future.

If I had to guess, I would not think they will go backward in models for Big Sur. Enjoy using your machine with Catalina. It still is a good version.

macOS Big Sur is compatible with most 2013 and later machines, outlined below:

  • 2015 and later MacBook.
  • 2013 and later MacBook Air.
  • Late 2013 and later MacBook Pro.
  • 2014 and later iMac.
  • 2017 and later iMac Pro.
  • 2014 and later Mac mini.
  • 2013 and later Mac Pro.
