My keyboard seems to have trouble staying connected. It's about five years old. Before when it did that it was because the batteries were low. Not this time. Is it possible that it's time to replace it.?

THose may or may not help, but they cannot hurt.

Possible....try resetting the SMC and NVRAM before you replace it.

Of course, I can't remember but I held down a key when restarting and it cleared up quite a mess. Sigh. Sorry. If anyone wants I will try and find it again.
