Calendar Error message: "Your Calendar couldn't be refreshed". What does it mean? What should I do?

I opened my Calendar when I realised that it was not open and got the following message:

"Your calendar couldn't be refreshed.

Access to account 'Google' is not permitted.

The server responded: "403" to operation CalDAVRefreshDelegateListQueueableOperation".

BTW: I'm using a MacBook Air (13-inch, Early 2015) running macOS High Sierra v 10.13.6

Hello Added Value and welcome to Apple Support Communities. It appears you are having some difficulty accessing calendar data on your Mac.

Calendar data as well as things like notes are associated with email accounts and it appears you may have associated yours with a Google account

Start by going to System Preferences > Internet Accounts. Click on the Google account and check that the Calendar option is selected. If it is not selected, enable it and then test again. if it is already enabled, disable it, reboot and then re-enable and test.

If none of that is effective, consider removing the Google account and re-establishing it.

Add or remove email accounts in Mail on Mac

Cheers.
