Stop sharing photos in iMovie

I just bought a new Macbook Pro today, and I'm in the process of setting up everything. I use iMovie exclusively for video editing and accidentally allowed access to photos, which I don't want. Is there anyway to reverse this so that the photos or not shared (or at least to get them out of the queue) as many of them look similar to my videos? I've not added any new videos to the Macbook yet, so even if I could restore everything to the default, it would be helpful.

The screen shot below shows the Security and Privacy box for the Mojave operating system. I think it is a bit different with Catalina and Big Sur, but the idea is the same. Find where Photos is enabled for iMovie and uncheck the box.

Go to System Preferences/Security & Privacy/Privacy. In the left hand pane click on Photos, or otherwise poke around for something relevant, and then uncheck Photos in the right hand pane. Or possibly it is uncheck iMovie from Photos. Sorry I can’t be more specific. I don’t have access to my Mac at the moment.

This is a great suggestion. Unfortunately, the "Automation" doesn't populate with any programs in Big Sur. Back to the drawing board for now, but thank you for your help!
