I was on tech reader website and music started playing on my iPad and won’t shut off. I don’t have Apple Music app

We want to be sure you were able to stop the music that was playing on your iPad.

If you suspect the music to be coming from a tab in Safari, you can start closing open tabs. If you suspect it might be coming from a specific app, you can also quit the app altogether. Close an app on your iPad

Also, when audio is playing on your iPad you may also be able to check the Now Playing widget from the Lock Screen that can show information on what is playing and from where.

Lastly, should you not be able to pinpoint the app, restart your iPad to refresh the software and connections. Restart your iPad
