Is there a way to adjust the start and end of day instead of midnight to midnight on the Apple Watch 6?

How to prevent apple watch from 'showing time' when I use various apps? OK so bear with me - new apple watch user -- How do I prevent the watch from showing the time when running various apps (unless I raise my wrist) -- For example in STRAVA when i run, the watch after a few seconds goes into just showing time (on the right side of the watch), instead of staying on showing me my training data. Looking through various settings having a hard time figuring out where to change this. Really annoying I need to raise my wrist everytime to see my training data! thanks for the help!!
