what is the benefit of dual graphics cards
I have dual graphics cards in my max pro 2013 and I am wondering what the benefit is given most information I can find suggests only one is used at anyone time.

In the dark cylinder Mac Pro 2013, the second graphics card has no display interfaces, and can not be made to drive displays.
It is used exclusively for GPU computation, provided your software is designed to take advantage of this ability.
