I purchased a new song but can't play it because a prompt tells me the computer isn't authorized. The problem os that it is authorized. No matter how many times I re-authorize it, I get the same prompt, and can't play the song.

For the first time ever, I received a prompt about the conputer not being authorized to play a new song I purchased. The problem is that my computer is authorized to play, and in fact, is the only computer. No matter how many times I re-authoroze it, I get a prompt that tells me the computer was already authorized, but when I try playing the song, I get the not authorized prompt and can't play the song. It's an endless loop that won't allow me to play that purchased song.

Repeated requests to authorize an already authorized computer for store downloads typically indicates you have corrupt or incomplete copies. Delete the tracks that won't play from your library without hiding from your purchase history. Redownload using the cloud links that should remain, or close iTunes and reopen if they don't show up straight away. While downloading click the activity widget and turn off the option that allows for simultaneous downloads.
