Snapchat stuck on screen but only barely visible

So its hard to explain since english isnt my first language but pretty much i opened snapchat earlier and after closing it i opened twitter, i didnt notice anything at first but then i clicked on a tweet that was recently tweeted and it had no comments (im saying that it had no comments because the lower half of the screen was a dark grey/blackish color which is normal since i have it on night mode). anyways i looked down on the dark part of my screen and i see a white circle thats barely visible but i can still see it. after looking closer at it i see some other buttons from snapchat that are on my screen and they are visible on anything that i open as long as the app is dark enough where the white is visible. its almost like every app i use has a screenshot of snapchat at 20% opacity as the background. while writing this i looked again on my phone and i see that its less visible so im not sure if its going to go away or stay like this.

Hello philippenglmn,

It sounds from your post that you are concerned about screen retention on your iPhone. We have a couple of things we can check.

Do you see these images after restarting and before stating Snapchat? If not, then most likely restarting resolved the issue. Restating can refresh the iOS, apps and connections.

What model iPhone is this? Different models have different screen types. The information below may be helpful: About the Super Retina display and Super Retina XDR display on your iPhone - Apple Support

"With extended long-term use, OLED displays can also show slight visual changes. This is expected behavior and includes “image persistence” or “burn-in,” where the display shows a faint remnant of an image even after a new image appears on the screen."

We hope this helps.

Have a wonderful day!
