iCloud synchronization with Notability

I have a problem with the synchronization with Notability (writing App). We use our iPads for school and all our data is safed in the Cloud. Yesterday we had a problem with the school system where all my data disappeared from the App. When I cloud synchronize it, not every data came back. So now I'm missing ca. 500 data.

My question:

Why isn’t every data back? And how can I get those back? (I’m really sure they were saved in the cloud

Hello Laura_2003_P,

It sounds like you are using iCloud to sync data between devices. This is a great use for iCloud. Having data disappear is never good, and we have a couple suggestions.

Using a computer, please log into iCloud.com and check to see if any of the notes are located there. If they are, tap on Settings > [your name] > iCloud and confirm that Contacts is toggled on.

If the notes are not there, then let's check for a backup from when they were known to be on the device. Here is how to check for available backups: Locate backups of your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support

Once a backup is located from when it is known that the notes where on the iPad, use these instructions to restore it to the device. Keep in mind that anything added to the iPad since this backup is going to be erased. Restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch from a backup - Apple Support

We hope this helps.

Have a wonderful day!
