Smart photo date option missing

I would like to make a smart album based on the capture date of my photos being older than a certain date. However, date is not an option for the selection criteria!

I can see from the Help-documentation and all other documentation, that Date (date taken or capture date) should be available as criteria.

I have a mix of scanned photos, photos imported from Canon camera and photos from iPhone.

I have MacOS 10.2.2 and Photos version 6.0 (all in Danish)

Here is a screenshot of my options. It looks like it may be a problem with the translation into Danish to me. Going by position in the menu, try "Date copied" (or whatever the translation of that in Danish is) 😃

Dear ToniCollinet,

yes, you are rigt: I do not have the "Date Captured" option you show in the first box. The box contains (translated from Danish):

  • Album
  • Date copied
  • Added date
  • Image text
  • Archive name
  • Keyword
  • Person
  • Photo
  • Text
  • Title

(in the above order) plus the options for camera settings below the separator line.

No "Date Captured" (or equivalent).

Very annoying since the "Date Captured" is the single most important feature for selection of images in the smart album :-(

PS Did not manage to take screen dump of the open options....
