Adding Spectrum TV to Apple TV 2nd generation
The 2nd gen only has access to preset channels, sent via server. Nothing can be added by the user. Also worth noting that the 2nd gen is classified as obsolete and many providers have steadily been dropping support for those server channels.

Thank you for your fast reply. I bought a new Apple TV 4K unit yesterday and can now stream TV from Spectrum. I also added the Spectrum Cloud DVR service yesterday. I cannot access the DVR from the Spectrum App on my Apple TV. The DVR works using my iPhone, but not the Apply TV box. Any ideas?
No problem. If you added the DVR service then it would be available in the app on all devices. I have included a link in case that helps. If you find that you are still unable to use that feature on Apple Tv then you would need to reach out to Spectrum.

Thank you. I saw that a few other users were having similar problems and were directed to contact Spectrum. I called them this morning and they are researching the issue. They will get back to me when they have a solution.
I just wanted to get back to you to let you know that this problem is resolved. Spectrum called me back the same night. The technician said hat the app just hadn't synced properly. He put me on hold for a minute or two and when he came back all was working. So Anyone else having a Cloud DVR issue should call Spectrum for a quick solution. Thanks again for your help.
You're welcome. If others are encountering it then there's surely something wrong with the Apple TV app, glad they are looking into it and hopefully it's fixed soon.
