Vibrate only option in notifications Settings

Hi,

I have a question about notification settings. Is there any way to force an app to just send me vibration notifications and no sounds?

The only way I can customize is sounds or no notifications, right?

I have the same problem like described in this thread: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/251192131

and reached out to WhatsApp many times but they didn’t answered my questions and just sent me useless articles from their help page.

So I thought that I may need to use the iOS settings to geht just a vibration notification when I get a message and no sound or nothing.

Hi,

thanks for your message.

With my Apple Messages App I can adjust everything (nothing, vibrate, sounds) just fine.

I also think that this setting is a issue with WhatsApp. I reached out to them many times but they didn´t helped me.

So I thought if there were a way to force my WhatsApp app to this setting. Like allowing Vibrations but don´t allow sounds for the WhatsApp app.

But right now there is just the way to adjust sounds (yes/no) or nitifications at all (yes/no) right?

Hi popeye2525.

Thanks for following up. If the WhatsApp app does not provide an option to vibrate or is not working properly, the only option is to work with the WhatsApp developers. iPhone settings cannot be adjusted to correct this.
