Delete apps iPhone SE iOS 14

How do I delete an app? I have removed the app from the home screen by holding the picture until they all jiggle and then removing. It is still in the App Library. Instructions from existing posts say to hold the app icon in the App Library and a menu will pop up. The only option I get is "Share App." I can't delete the app from my phone or move it back to the homescreen.

you can delete from the App Library by locating the app and tap/hold, select Delete App

or you can go to Settings > General > iPhone Storage > [app name] > Delete

If you still are unable to delete, check:

Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions > iTunes & App Store Purchases > Deleting Apps

make sure that's set to 'Allow'

On an iPhone with iOS 14, if the app is on a Home screen, touch and hold the app, tap Remove app and then tap Delete App (or tap Edit Home Screen in the pop up menu, tap the minus sign, then tap Delete App)

If the app is only in the App Library screen, touch and hold the app there and then tap Delete app.

Note that some built-in Apple apps cannot be deleted.

If neither of those options is available, there may be a restriction set on deleting apps. On an iPhone or iPad, go to Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions > iTunes & App Store Purchases > Deleting Apps.
