iPhone won’t ring

I just purchased the iPhone 12 Pro. I can’t get the phone to ring. I have adjusted the volume on the phone and in settings. The phone is not in the do not disturb mode. The phone only vibrates. I turned the vibrate options off and it still won’t ring. HELP

Have you perhaps accidentally moved the mute switch to the silent position? It is located along the edge, near the external volume controls.
