The “announce message” option doesn’t show in settings

Your compatible headphones need to be paired with one of these devices:

• iPad with iPadOS 14.3 or later

You have the right firmware on your AirPods. Try the following and complete both steps.

1. Try and Force ReStart Your iPhone as instructed in this article by Apple ➔ How to Force ReStart your iPhone. 
2. Reset your AirPods Pro and then pair them back again to your iPhone. Here is ➔ How to Reset your AirPods.

I am having this issue as well and I have AirPod pros and my software is iOS 14.4... how do I make this setting appear?

3A283 when I hit the information button it says I have this version.
