MacBook Pro not charging after macOS Big Sur update

Over the weekend, I upgraded to the new BigSur firmware 11.2.2. As a result, the laptop stopped charging. Charger working, checked it. Tried turning off Energy Saver. But it did not help

macbook pro not charging My macbook pro is unable to charge since 2 days ago. It’s not the lightning port issue as everything else works (mouse, monitor etc), the only issue is that it isn’t charging when I plug in the charger. I’ve used another charger to test but it doesn’t work as well. Anyone else is facing the same issue? I suspect its a software issue. model: macbook pro 13” 2019 Thanks in advance.

MacBook Pro 2020 strange or not charging behavior Two days ago my MacBook Pro displays a strange charging behavior: even on power (original OEM, plugged in directly) it does not charge. Actually yesterday it went to 1% and died when I was working. I had to wait for an hour to be able to turn it back on. I have the latest macOS Monterey 12.2.1 with “Optimized battery charging” and “Manage battery longevity” - checked. Also, I use my laptop plugged in most of the time. My question to Apple is: OS algorithm is draining the battery on purpose, to extent it’s life? Then, why it drained so much to shut down the laptop? Why didn’t do that at night, for example?

My MacBook was under warranty, I took it to a service center. There was a problem with the motherboard, it was replaced under warranty. unfortunately it so coincided that it happened after the update. I do not know whether it was accident or not

this morning I did also the update to 11.2.2.

since the update my MacBook ist not charging anymore -.- I only have 20% battery left 😕

Do you have any suggestions what to do? 🤔

this is very strange ... I had a charger that came in the kit. I have not used Hub for three months (((
