As for the answers to your security questions, did you have those written down anywhere? "Apple uses security questions to provide you with a secondary method to identify yourself online or when contacting Apple Support. Security questions are designed to be memorable to you but hard for anyone else to guess. When used in conjunction with other identifying information, they help Apple verify that you are the person who is requesting access to your account." You can read more about this here:
If you attempt to reset your security questions and you answer incorrectly too many times in a row, you temporarily can't use your security questions. If this occurs, try resetting them after the waiting period ends.
