Where is the sim card on iPad Air bought in 2014? Cannot find it.

If you cannot readily identify the SIM slot on one of the edges of the iPad, you will without doubt have purchased a WiFi Only model of iPad.
WiFi Only models have no Cellular hardware - and will lack both a physical SIM slot or visible Antenna bands within the iPad chassis.
