Compass not correct
How do I get my iPhone 7 compass to read true instead of opposite direction of where headed?

Thanks for visiting Apple Support Communities. We understand that you're having an issue with the Compass app on your iPhone. Do you use a case with your iPhone? If so, does removing it seem to help? Take a look at the note at the bottom of this guide regarding interference: Use the compass on iPhone
Also make sure you don't have the "True North" option turned on by tapping Settings > Compass. If "Use True North" is turned on here, turn it off, then check to see if the Compass app appears as expected. If not, tap Privacy > Location Services > System Services > and make sure "Compass Calibration" is turned on.
