Hello lisalounsbury,

First it helps to learn there's two kinds of storage. There's storage on a device and storage in iCloud. Storage on a device cannot be upgraded. You have to buy a difference device with more. You can make better use of what you have by optimizing and for that you may need more iCloud storage, to which you can subscribe.
