iMovie 10.1.1 can't export (crashes) on MacOs Mojave

Hello, I am desperately trying to make iMovie work. It crashes every time I try to export. I tried many things, include to delete preferences and start a new library, but nothing has solved the export-crash.

I am using a MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2014)

2,5 GHz Intel Core i7

MacOS Mojave 10.14.6

iMovie 10.1.1

Can someone help please? What should I do.

You might be using a too outdated version of iMovie. Mojave can run iMovie 10.1.14. I suggest that you update to that and see if the export issues are cured.

To update, drag your iMovie app from the applications folder to the trash, but don’t empty the trash. Then sign into the app store and update from the display of your purchases. If no success, drag your present iMovie app from the trash and replace it in the Applications folder.
