I recently downloading a bunch of clips from my twitch channel. When I import them into imovie, some of them have sound and some of them don't. They all play with sound outside of imovie on quicktime player, and they're all in the same format. I've tried quitting out of imovie, restarting my computer. Any help would be appreciated.

iMovie can be a bit sensitive about tiny differences caused by the rendering process. Try opening one of the troublesome clips in QuickTimePlayer and exporting it out from there. That will re-render the clip. See if the exported clip will play with sound in iMovie.
