Translate app not working

As long as a language is downloaded for offline use, translation becomes “unavailable”. When i enter text an tap “Go” nothing happens. When I tap the mic it says “Translation unavailable”.

As soon as I delete the offline languages, it works again.

Deleting / reinstalling the translation app seems to help because this also deletes the offline languages. But guess what’s happening when I dare to download a language for offline use... right, translation unavailable.

And yes, I also turned my iPhone completely off and on again multiple times. Doesn’t help.
