If you mean the Microsoft Word compatible package from Apple's iWork package, it is no longer available from Apple. There is Pages on the App Store, but you'll have to download it to see if it works on El Capitan. I can't test it.

Be careful if you download from another source, as many do not have legitimate registration keys and could be a gateway for Malware.

Both may have compatible versions available for download of their office applications, which can read most different Word compatible word processors. Some formatting may be lost.
