Microsoft Office 2016 and Big Sur

I'm seeing all sorts of issues with Excel 2016 following the Big Sur upgrade. Is anyone else experiencing similar issues?

    • Conditional formatting with simple formulas results in a crash
    • Expanding (by dragging) the data range for a graph does not result in the new data point(s) being added to the graph
    • The formatting bar (fill, font colour, bold, borders, etc) greys out after 2-4 sheets have been opened

I tried removing Office 2016 followed by running the original product installer and then Microsoft Update but the problems remain.
