To have your Apps appear as List View instead of Grid View:

Press the digital crown
Force touch (gently applying pressure to the watch face in one spot)
Select List View or Grid View

Thanks. Actually I found the answer finally but it was slightly different from yours. Find setting & change View from Grid to List. Sure wasn't easy to find. Thanks again.

BTW this no longer works in Watch OS 7

Force touch was removed.
