watchOS 1.0.1 up to date.

Hi, I got an old apple watch that haven't been used for a few years, once I pair it it asks for an update but then it says it's up to date and the version is 1.0.1 and won't let me complete pairing. I'm running IOS 14.4 on my Iphone. Any ideas how to fix it ? Tried reseting the watch and deleting everything but that did not work.

Yup,

I afraid you are out of luck.

The series 1 Watch came out in the Fall of 2015. It is approaching 6-years old, now.

Even if you could upgrade/update that watch to its max watchOS version, it is still too old and will not pair with newer iOS devices and with the latest iOS versions.

Time for a new Watch.

Sorry.
