Problem with iCloud

Today i decided it's finally time to clean up my icloud and gallery, because i kept getting notifications that my icloud storage is full. I cleaned out my icloud to the point of it having 4,5GB of free space and it was still not enough, so i bought 50GB of more space. Even after that, turning my phone off and on couple of times i kept getting notifications of icloud's full storage and i can't upload anything to it. What is the best solution to that, if there's any at all?

iPhone 8 Plus, iOS 14

Hello banuszka,

Welcome to Apple Support Communities! We understand that you're attempting to manage your iCloud storage, but continue to receive low storage alerts.

You mentioned that the alerts you're receiving are for the iCloud storage. To confirm, we just want to make sure that these alerts aren't for the local storage on your iPhone. What's the difference between device storage and iCloud storage?

When you check the available space you have in iCloud, are you able to see the additional storage plan that you purchased? Manage your iCloud storage

Do you receive alerts for your iCloud storage when signing into your account on the iCloud website? Sign in to iCloud

Also, it's possible that your device is attempting to back up to iCloud, and there isn't enough storage. Have you checked the next backup size? Here's how to find that information. If you can't back up to iCloud or if restore from iCloud backup failed

We look forward to hearing back from you.

Regards.
