Keynote Independent shape Animation

Hi guys! I'm trying to create an interactive quiz for my students on Keynote. What i need is to create independent on click animation based on the particular shape, not the whole slide. For example, when the student presses the box shape with the answer it would either turn into a flame animation (wrong answer) or shimmer animation (correct answer). I can create all of it, but the problem is that 4 box shapes of answers can't function independently. Only in a specific build order, but I need, for example, if student clicks box 3, which wrong answer, it would go in flames and then disappear(build out animation), but if he press box 1, then he would choose the correct answer. However I can't get my head around how to make it possible. I did before on power point, so i think keynote is not worse than it, so it's also possible. If you have any ideas how to do it, I would be very glad to hear them out ASAP cause my quiz night only in few days away. I will add the video, so you have an idea what am I looking for :)

Unlike PowerPoint, Keynote does not have a tool that will action an animation on a shape

This procedure uses a hyperlinks to navigate to extra slides to play this type of quiz in Keynote

  • add three slides in a new Keynote project
  • slide 1 for the question, slide 2 for the right answer and slide 3 for the wrong answer
  • On slide 1 - place the following items on the slide:

four shapes on the slide to act as buttons

a text box containing the text of the question

text boxes for the three options for the answer next to the buttons

  • right click on the first button and select: Add Link, then select: Slide

in the popup, choose Slide then select Slide 2

  • On slide 2 place a graphic with a large green tick mark
  • On slide 3 place a graphic with a large red X
  • Place the shape of "Home" on slides 2 and 3 to link back to slide 1
  • Add the flame and shimmer animations to slides 2 and 3

Add further sets of three slides to provide more questions and responces
