If running iOS 13 or earlier versions, check: Settings - Passwords & Accounts - Accounts - Any rogue entries here? If so, delete the rogue account.
If running iOS 14, check: Settings - Calendar - Accounts - Any rogue entries here? If so, delete the rogue account.
No other steps are required than those outlined above.
Never, never, never download anything based on such bogus messages.

this is a calendar spam, not a virus.

We have asked Apple to improve their article! Unchecking the calendar does not remove it from your phone.
